Primary Functions:
Individual assigned to this high level of expertise and experience within a specified area of production.
Job Title: Mechanic
Location: Orlando, FL
Pay: $19.00/hr
What’s the Job?
• Perform inspections across all product lines as business needs require in accordance with the duties and responsibilities.
• Be trained and capable of performing all inspections electrical and cosmetic across all product lines, paint and body shop.
• Perform all functions of sheet metal installation, be able to train assemblers and sheet metal installers in all pay grades and fill in for any position in sheet metal assembly as necessary.
• Ensure manufacturing, quality, and safety requirements are met.
• Fabricate metal parts using a variety of sheet metal fabrication materials.
• Installation of sheet metal parts with screws, adhesives, or other general fastening methods.
What’s Needed?
• HS Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate instructions presented in English.
• Knowledge of all applicable AMD, KKK, FMVSS and QVM standards and test protocols. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, assembly drawings and schematics.
• Ability to read English and Metric tape measures and use measuring devices.
• Ability to use functional gauging assigned for inspection.
• Knowledge of drivetrains and power unit operation and be able to troubleshoot.
• Good mechanical ability and understanding of component functionality.
