Our client, is seeking a Purchasing agent to join their team. As a Purchasing agent, you will be part of the Purchasing Dept. supporting the team.. The ideal candidate will have Purchasing experience, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Purchasing Agent
Location: Las cruces
Pay Range: $24 to $26.00
What’s the Job?
Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability and other criteria
Interviewing vendors and visiting suppliers’ facilities to learn about products, services and pricing
Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company
Verifying purchases by comparing them to a master list and recommending alternatives for expensive or irrelevant products
Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
Authorizing payments and maintain receipts, records and inventories
What’s Needed?
Ability to accurately process and maintain detailed records and documents.
Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work effectively.
Able to communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Proficient in negotiating favorable terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers.
Capable of conducting market research and analyzing data to make informed purchasing decisions.
