ManpowerGroup Quality Manager in West Melbourne, Florida
Our client, a leader in the Public Safety Communications Industry, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team.
As a Quality Manager, you will be part of the Operations & Production department. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and competent professional who possesses the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will be a problem solver who relies heavily on data and analysis to drive decisions and a leader who can effectively implement solutions in an ever evolving environment. Transformational leadership skills will be necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in implementing key initiatives. Bilingual in English / Spanish is preferred but not required.
Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Melbourne, FL
Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000
What’s the Job?
Supervise, engage, motivate and guide inspectors, technicians and other staff.
Assure the reliability and consistency of production processes.
Understand customers' requirements and ensure they are satisfied.
Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.
International travel between manufacturing sites in US & Mexico.
What’s Needed?
Minimum of 5 years-experience leading the function of quality within a manufacturing or technical environment.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality/continuous improvement systems such as: Lean Manufacturing, and LPA (Layered Process Audits).
Lean certification or evidence of lean manufacturing experience (Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)).
Bachelor's degree in Quality System Management desired or Equivalent experience.
