ManpowerGroup Principal Software Engineer in United States

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to lead their Guidewire Claim Center development team. This role requires someone enthusiastic about innovative problem-solving within a cross-functional team and who supports agile/lean practices. The Principal Engineer will guide the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications, offering advanced technical insight and business expertise to the team.

Job Title: Principal Software Engineer

Location: FULLY REMOTE IN THE U.S.

Pay Range:

$140,000 - $150,000 with a 35% bonus potential

What’s the Job?

  • Design architecture and oversee development and unit testing

  • Provide strategic technical direction and adopt new tools and technologies.

  • Drive technical excellence and innovation within the team.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, advising on long-term solutions.

What’s Needed?

  • 5+ years of Guidewire development experience (Claim Center preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience coding RESTful APIs.

  • 8+ years of experience with coding in multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, etc.

  • 8+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL – MS SQL Server & Transact SQL proficiency preferred.

  • Expertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications.
