ManpowerGroup Sr Security Engineer in University Park, Illinois
Our client, in Insurance Tech is seeking a Sr Security Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Security Engineer, you will work closely with application and infrastructure engineering teams, product managers (PM), quality assurance (QA), and third-party groups to ensure that products are secure. They work with various teams identify and mitigate security issues, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations by applying their in-depth knowledge of development, infrastructure, and cloud providers.

Location: 100% Remote (EST hours)
What’s the Job?
Identify and help mitigate security issues, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities related to cloud, datacenter, and Kubernetes infrastructure
Implement new, and update existing security measures for the protection of company's infrastructure
Contribute to the operationalization of Security platforms
What’s Needed?
Experience working in one of the following: site-reliability engineering, security engineering, DevSecOps, or system engineering.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or Amazon Web Services.
Experience with one or more scripting languages, PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform or Ansible.
