Our client in Torrance, CA. is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Lead to join their team. As a warehouse lead, you will be part of the warehouse department supporting the warehouse team. What’s in it for me?

Payrate $24-$26 P/H based on experience

What’s Needed?
Overseeing the handling of consignments and the supervising of the loading and unloading of the same.
Maintaining and account of the entire supplies, raw and packaging materials inventory in the warehouse.
Following all necessary documentation and legal procedures for inbound and outbound.
Assigning work and functions to all warehouse workers and staff during his/her shift.
Supervising the functions and working of warehouse workers when the supervisor is absent.
Adhering to the compliance of all legal, food safety, food quality and safety procedures of the company.
Report to supervisor any improper functioning of warehouse tools and equipment.
Supervise the deliveries on supplies to the lines according SOP's.
Validating the received materials and goods with the invoices to ascertain the precision of the goods delivered.
Monitoring the warehouse records and inventory and filing report of discrepancies in quantities and damages to the supervisor.
What we are looking for?
Read, write and speak English (Bilingual in Spanish is a plus)
3-5 years of experience as a warehouse lead
Minimum 3 years of experience in a distribution or warehouse facility; previous experience in a production plant is a plus.
Proficiency with the MS office platform.
Experience using Syspro and/or riteScan is a plus.
