ManpowerGroup CNC Machinist in Tonawanda, New York
Our client in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Lathe and Mill machinist to join their CNC team. In this role, the ideal candidate will setup and operate CNC mills or Okuma lathes with live tooling.
Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Tonawanda, NY
Pay Range: Starting at $21.00 up to $35.00 per hour.
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift openings available
What’s the Job?
Operate the CNC mill and Okuma lathe machines with using live tooling.
Ability to complete tool changes, offsets and machine setups
Inspect, maintain and report finished product has met company standards.
Utilizing tools such as micrometers and calipers to accurately measure dimensions.
What’s Needed?
2+ years of consistent CNC lathe and mill operation
Ability to read blueprints, define problems and collect data.
Knowledge of micrometers, calipers and other measuring and power hand tools.
Knowledge of G & M code and editing
Reliable transportation
