ManpowerGroup Production Supervisor in Theodore, Alabama

An equipment manufacturer is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team Engineering to Order team. As a Production Manager, you will be part of the Heavy Fabrication team supporting operations, production, and safety. The ideal candidate will have engineering to order, fabrication, and leadership skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Theodore, AL

What’s the Job?

  • Provide daily direction to supervisor team and work together to remove obstacles creating production delays.

  • Partner with other departments and shifts to coordinate raw materials, parts, assemblies and completed units, etc.

  • Work with engineering teams on critical component reliability and related product specifications to achieve strategic goals.

  • Work closely with production scheduler to reduce production delays.

  • Promote safe work environment and champion safety practices and behaviors.

  • Partner with human resources to determine appropriate staffing levels, address performance issues, onboarding of new employees, etc.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow and processes on production floor.

What’s Needed?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a medium volume manufacturing environment, ETO a plus.

  • Must have previous supervisory experience.

  • Lean Six Sigma, highly desirable.

  • Proven results improving manufacturing performance.

  • Proven experience training others in manufacturing concepts and activities.
