Job Description: Sr. Procedure Writer

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: $60/hr. on W2.

Location: Hybrid (Charlotte, NC; Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler - AZ; Minneapolis - MN)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Procedure Writer to join our team for a 6+ month contract role. As a Sr. Procedure Writer, you will play a crucial role in transforming our content management system (CMS) and procedures management processes. Your strong writing skills, financial industry experience, and expertise in AI/automation and data modeling will be instrumental in enhancing our capabilities and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with process owners and subject matter experts to understand and document existing processes and procedures

  • Redesign and optimize workflows, procedures, and documentation to improve efficiency and enhance the user experience

  • Leverage your experience with OpenText systems, specifically TeamSite and Web Experience Management, to manage and maintain our CMS

  • Develop and publish clear, concise, and user-friendly procedures and documentation for a diverse set of stakeholders

  • Bring innovative ideas and best practices from other businesses to help transform our procedures management processes

  • Participate in the implementation of an Agile approach for intake, resource management, and the overall procedures management lifecycle

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring consistency and quality in our procedures and documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-7 years of experience as a Procedure Writer or similar role

  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documentation

  • Familiarity with financial institutions, particularly big banks, and their procedures management processes

  • Experience with AI/automation and data modeling, with the ability to apply these concepts to the design of our CMS

  • Proficiency in using content management systems, with a focus on OpenText systems (TeamSite, Web Experience Management)

  • Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment, with both local and remote team members
