Job Description: Sr. Procedure Writer
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $60/hr. on W2.
Location: Hybrid (Charlotte, NC; Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler - AZ; Minneapolis - MN)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Procedure Writer to join our team for a 6+ month contract role. As a Sr. Procedure Writer, you will play a crucial role in transforming our content management system (CMS) and procedures management processes. Your strong writing skills, financial industry experience, and expertise in AI/automation and data modeling will be instrumental in enhancing our capabilities and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with process owners and subject matter experts to understand and document existing processes and procedures
Redesign and optimize workflows, procedures, and documentation to improve efficiency and enhance the user experience
Leverage your experience with OpenText systems, specifically TeamSite and Web Experience Management, to manage and maintain our CMS
Develop and publish clear, concise, and user-friendly procedures and documentation for a diverse set of stakeholders
Bring innovative ideas and best practices from other businesses to help transform our procedures management processes
Participate in the implementation of an Agile approach for intake, resource management, and the overall procedures management lifecycle
Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring consistency and quality in our procedures and documentation
Required Qualifications:
6-7 years of experience as a Procedure Writer or similar role
Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documentation
Familiarity with financial institutions, particularly big banks, and their procedures management processes
Experience with AI/automation and data modeling, with the ability to apply these concepts to the design of our CMS
Proficiency in using content management systems, with a focus on OpenText systems (TeamSite, Web Experience Management)
Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment, with both local and remote team members
