Our client, a leader in industrial packaging products and services, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, teamwork abilities and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Taylor, SC
Pay Range: $30+/h
What’s the Job?
Work from blueprints, sketches, samples, and written or verbal instructions disassemble, assemble, install, adjust, or repair machinery and equipment.
Perform basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient manner, which supports the continuous improvement process within the facility.
Start up and shuts down equipment in accordance with operation’s requirements.
Diagnose and repair activities with detailed working procedures.
Set-up, adjust, calibrate, and operate equipment; perform layout and bench work; inspect, dismantle, repair, rebuild, assemble, weld, install and lubricate machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.
What’s Needed?
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
