Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections is seeking a Voter Outreach Representative to join their team. As a Voter Outreach Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our electoral processes accuracy, efficiency, and integrity. The ideal candidate will be details-oriented, have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and can work in a team to support the tasks necessary for the successful execution of the 2024 election.
Job Title: Voter Outreach Representative
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay Range: $17/hour
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Work at off-site outreach events to provide voters the opportunity to register for the elections.
Assist Outreach Manager at County Center or the Election Service Center.
Provide voter registration instructions and informational material at offsite outreach events.
Answer questions and share voting and elections information with the public.
Refrain from any comments or discussion concerning a voter, a voter's party preference, a candidate, or issue, while representing the office of the Supervisor of Elections.
Job Qualifications
Ability to work independently while also contributing as a part of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively and represent the office in public venues.
Ability to remain nonpartisan while representing the office of the Supervisor of Elections.
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Possession of a valid and current FL Driver License with no more than 7 points.
