ManpowerGroup Production Technician in Tallahassee, Florida
Our Industrial client is seeking a temporary 1st shift Production Worker to join their team. As a Temp Production Worker, you will be part of the mass production of component parts supporting preparation and line assembly operation. The ideal candidate will have great teamwork skills and reliable attendance, as well as learn quickly to follow all operating procedures.
Job Title: Production Worker
Location: Tallahassee, FL (32310)
Pay Range: $16.00 hourly
Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30PM (Monday - Thursday, with Friday and Saturday OT very likely. Sunday off)
What's the Job?
Various production tasks including mechanical assembly, operating pressure test stands, functional testing, preparation, and material handling.
Operates machines such as air wenches, hydraulic, or pneumatic presses, or other tools to perform fitting, fastening, or bonding on the assembly line.
Place/sort parts in relationship to each other and using hand/eye coordination to bolt, clip, screw, cement, and/or fasten parts together.
Follow all policies and procedures, and maintain a clean and safe workplace.
What's Needed?
Physical Requirements: This position requires you to regularly stand, stoop, kneel, walk, use hands and fingers, and reaching for 10 hour shifts. Regular lifting/moving of parts up to 25lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Availability: 6 days a week. Monday - Thursday for 10 hours, Friday is OT and some Saturdays in OT as production demands.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 1-3 years related experience and/or training
Quality Workmanship: Take pride in your quality of work, follow policies and procedures, take initiative to correct mistakes, and work in a fast paced environment.
Teamwork: Communicating in a respectful manner to supervisors and team members and be open to receiving feedback.
