Job Title: Lock box Payment Processing
Location: 1101 Pacific Avenue Tacoma WA 98402 United States
Duration: 7 months of contract on W2
Payrate: $19/hr on w2
Position Summary:
The Operations Specialist is responsible for executing moderate to complex administrative and operational tasks within defined guidelines while contributing to workflow improvements and process changes. This role involves handling a wide range of responsibilities, including customer service, reporting, and issue resolution, in areas such as retail banking, consumer lending, or auto finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute moderate operational and administrative tasks, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to procedures.
Administer and analyze processes, resolve moderate issues, and escalate complex problems to senior staff or supervisors.
Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests, ensuring excellent customer service.
Contribute to workflow improvements and recommend solutions for routine issues.
Prepare and analyze regular reporting and documentation related to operations.
Manage moderate monetary processing functions, including Lockbox, ACH, wires, and other payment delivery channels.
Maintain an intermediate understanding of accounting principles, loan documentation, and banking policies.
Train or assist in training new staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; college degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience in an operations role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable navigating multiple computer systems.
Intermediate knowledge of banking regulations, accounting principles, and loan documentation.
