ManpowerGroup Forklift Operator in Staten Island, New York
Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Staten Island, NY
Pay Range: $20 - $21.50 per hour
Shift: 4:00PM-2:45AM Friday-Monday
What's the Job?
Operate powered equipment for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products.
Check all inbound and outbound products to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Perform daily inspections of equipment and monitor power sources as necessary.
Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare products for shipment.
Verify load accuracy, check load counts, stability, and product damages.
What's Needed?
High School Degree or equivalent (Desirable).
1-3 years of experience in Forklift Operation (Essential).
1-3 years of experience in Material Handling (Essential).
1-2 years of logistics industry experience (Desirable).
Counterbalance/Reach Truck (Essential).
