Our client, is seeking a Business Planning Project Manager to join their team. As a Business Planning Project Manager, you will be part of the department and supporting the team.

Job Title: Business Planning Project Manager

Location: St. Louis, MO

What’s the Job?

  • Lead and manage business and technology projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with Nestle Purina PetCare's strategy and goals.

  • Develop and maintain project documents, including charters, plans, risk registers, and lessons learned.

  • Coordinate project activities, facilitate meetings, and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.

  • Manage project resources, tasks, dependencies, and deliverables, tracking progress and reporting on performance, issues, and risks.

  • Ensure project quality and compliance with relevant standards, and conduct closure and handover activities.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for project improvement and innovation.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, information systems, or related field.

  • Project management certification or relevant experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing business and technology projects.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse and remote teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to analyze and solve problems creatively and logically.

  • Self-driven and able to work independently with little direction.

  • Experience in leading projects in various domains and applying different project management approaches.

  • Proficiency in project management software and experience in managing project risks, changes, and quality .
