Our client, the oil and gas industry, is seeking a network contractor (SME) to join their team.
Job Description: Wireless Network Contractor (SME)
Location: Spring, TX (On-site)
Pay : $50-$55/hr on W2
Position Overview: The SITS Branch organization is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Contractor - SME to join our team at the ExxonMobil campus in Spring, TX. This role requires advanced wireless networking expertise and experience within a large enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be part of the Branch Access Tech Team, working on various tasks and projects while troubleshooting wireless issues on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and manage wireless site surveys.
Plan and design WiFi radios for optimal performance.
Engineer Cisco wireless solutions for large buildings, considering various environmental factors.
Utilize advanced wireless troubleshooting skills and tools to resolve issues efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects and resolve wireless network problems.
Required Technical Skills:
Extensive knowledge of Cisco’s enterprise wireless infrastructure (CCNP Wireless certification - CCIA , CCIE is a plus).
Proficiency in wireless site surveys.
Expertise in WiFi radio planning.
Capability to design and engineer Cisco wireless solutions for complex environments.
Competence with various wireless troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a globally diverse team.
Self-motivated with a strong drive to learn and improve.
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
