ManpowerGroup 2nd shift Maintenance Technician in SPRING LAKE, Michigan
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to add to their 2nd shift! This is a Direct Hire position.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Location: Spring Lake, MI
Shift: 2nd shift
Pay Range: $23 - $33.50/hr + $1.50/hr shift premium
Position Summary: Performs installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, structures and property.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
5+ years' experience in maintenance
Plastic Injection Molding experience
Electrical license or previously qualified as an electrical worker
Vocational or college-level studies in electric and/or hydraulics, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated understanding of electrical and/or electronic problem analysis and repair
Demonstrated understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic installation, problem analysis and repair
Demonstrated ability to perform simple machining/fabrication (cutting, drilling, tapping, etc) and Arc and MIG welding tasks.
Competency in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following
Maintain and repair production equipment as required
Minor repair of production as required
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
Assist with equipment installation or relocation
Use of various equipment including, but not limited to:
Machining / Fabrication - welder, milling machine, circular saw, degreasing equipment, drill press, grinder table saw, compressed air equipment, metal lathe, sand blaster, band saw, molding machine
Measuring Equipment - calipers, multimeter, bore gage, micrometer
Proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts
Ensure compliance with clients environmental management system and look for opportunities to reduce our impact on the environment.
