The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, electrical and embedded systems engineering technician experience, as well as a great team player.
Job Responsibilities :
Be part of New Product Development Engineering group
Provides embedded system design and development support for new and existing medical devices
Works with aspects of software development including system specifications, software requirements, architecture, risk management.
Build as well as test electronic circuits
Assist with qualification test activities to ensure compliance to software requirements specifications and product technical specifications
Maintain test equipment, test set-ups and lab equipment
Education: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Emphasis in embedded systems and firmware development
Understand of C/C ++ programming language
Experience with the use of common electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes and multimeters)
Relevant electrical engineering technician experience
Experienced with small embedded microcontrollers such as ARM,Cortex-M, MSP430 and PIC
Experience with firmware development tools including debuggers, emulators and logic- analyzers
Experience with one or more high level programming languages such as Python, Visual C++, Visual Basic, or Embarcadero Delphi
Proficiency with MS Office (data graphing and report writing)
Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications, including electrical schematics
Ability to solder, debug,and evaluate electronic circuits
-Strong Communication Skills(both written and verbal)
- Highly motivated without minimal supervision.
