ManpowerGroup Network Engineer in Seattle, Washington
Our client and global eCommerce leader is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer on the Data Center Team, you will be part of the Network Development Team supporting design, implementing and maintaining the network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale data center an/or WAN network environments as well as 1+ years of experience in automation scripting via bch/shell or Python/Perl programming which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $72.95/HR on Experis W2
What’s the Job?
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline network configuration and management tasks.
Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for enterprise applications.
Implement cloud services, ensure security best practices, and enhance performance and scalability.
What’s Needed?
4+ years’ experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale data center and/or WAN network environments.
4+ years’ experience developing engineering, deployment, or operations mechanisms to support IP network and/or networking systems.
4+ years’ experience in a technical on-call capacity, responding to customer impacting events, mitigating and root cause analysis of those events.
1+ years of experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming.
Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, Server Load Balancing, and Network Security architecture and core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Server Load Balancers, Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, LDAP, NFS, etc.
