Job Title: Network Engineer IV
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Hybrid, Seattle, WA (three days a week)
Pay Rate: $72.95/hr.
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline network configuration and management tasks. You will also manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for enterprise applications.

Job Description:
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline network configuration and management tasks.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in networking and software development.
Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for enterprise applications.
Implement cloud services, ensure security best practices, and enhance performance and scalability.
Collaborate with development teams, implement Infrastructure, and troubleshoot application-level issues.
Install, configure, and maintain network and server hardware. Troubleshoot hardware issues and recommend solutions for organizational needs.
Basic coding language proficiency in Python is required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7+ years of industry experience.
Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols.
In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.
Extensive experience with major router platforms, specifically Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx platforms, including all compatible supervisory and line cards.
Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.
Significant experience with and expertise in many of the following protocols and technologies: DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3, OC48), 802.2/3, 802.1d VLANs/STP, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, IPSEC & VPNs, NetFlow, DNS, HTTP.
