ManpowerGroup Software Database Engineer 3 in Redmond, Washington

Job Title: Software Database Engineer 3

Pay Range: $55/hr. - $60/hr.

Location: Redmond, WA (Remote, but may come into office occasionally)

The main function of a Software Database Engineer is to establish system information requirements through analysis and development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design architecture to include software, hardware, and communications to support total requirements and provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.

  • Ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with standards for agency IT architectures, profiles of standards as they apply to implementation, platform-specific solutions, integration with other systems, and external interfaces.

  • Ensure that the common operating environment is compliant. Evaluate analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning, and develop appropriate corrective actions.

  • Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with X-box and within a gaming organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages.

  • Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients.

  • Experience in driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolios, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations.

  • Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.

  • Requires practical experience and training.
