ManpowerGroup Project Manager - O365 in Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Title: Project Manager - Microsoft Office 365 Implementation

Type: Long term contract, 12-18 months at minimum

Location: Hybrid Raleigh NC Preferred

Pay rate: $70-$80/hour

Why open? SECU currently hosts on-prem microsoft products and is implementing O365. They have signed with a vendor (CDW) for the IT side of the work, but this person will be the SEUC PM assigned to the work. This roll out includes a move from Cisco Jabber to Microsoft teams.

Need to Have:

  • Must have done this type of project before – would love to see them have stayed from start to finish

  • Financial services background

  • Comfortable with using Jira as a project management tool

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Microsoft Office 365 implementation project within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing similar projects in a financial institution or a comparable industry. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Microsoft 365 implementation, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for the Microsoft 365 implementation.

  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management and project sponsors on project progress.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead a cross-functional project team, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

  • Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Proactively address issues to prevent project delays or setbacks.

  • Vendor Management:

  • Collaborate with Microsoft 365 service providers and vendors.

  • Ensure that vendor deliverables align with project goals and meet quality standards.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Implement robust testing procedures to guarantee the functionality and security of Microsoft 365 applications.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

  • Training and Change Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive training program for end-users.

  • Facilitate change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to Microsoft 365.
