Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the packaging and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Pay Range: $18.40 per hour
Shift: ?Monday-Friday 11am-7pm + Overtime

What's the Job?
Operate various machines within the warehouse for packaging and preparing items for shipment.
Observe the operation and speed of packing machines and make adjustments as necessary.
Ensure adequate packing supplies are stocked in or near the packing machine.
Clear jams and perform basic troubleshooting on machines.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, disposing of excess materials appropriately.
What's Needed?
No previous experience required; however, experience working on assembly lines or palletizing machines is a plus.
Ability to work the mid-shift from 11am to 7pm, with potential to extend up to 9pm based on business needs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and machinery.
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and communication.
