Our client in Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will assist in the operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality and striving for efficiency and excellence in all endeavors.
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Pay Range: $17.00-$18.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
What’s the Job?
Perform routine & repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production
Inspect in-process or finished production assemblies & sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards
Read & follow visual aids, engineering change notices or established operating procedures
Follow standardized & routine written directions & visual aids for assigned quality assurance inspection operations
Enter standardized information into computerized MES system using simple keystrokes to indicate pass or failure of the circuit board.
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in a relevant production role
Degree or education in electronic or related field preferred
Knowledge of IPC 610 & J-Standards preferred but not necessary
Excellent attention to detail a must
