ManpowerGroup Project Manager in Portland, Oregon

PROJECT MANAGER

At Experis Game Solutions we partner with developers and publishers of video games on all platforms to improve testing coverage using the latest technology. With more than 12 years of QA partnerships, we have shipped over 100 games and believe in testing smart and gaming hard!! We are looking for a Project Manager that enjoys video games and has interest in the future of entertainment. Our Project Management teams are enthusiastic about the technology that drive innovation in the digital entertainment space and enjoy working on multiple products that entertain millions of people across the globe on any given day. Our teams utilize the resources provided to us by world-class publishers and technology leaders to build an environment that keeps skillful people happy through challenge and work-life balance.

Location : remote; preference is for Seattle, San Diego or Portland for occasional on-site meetings

Pay Range: $44-$48/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, and delivery of all team projects.

  • Actively monitor, track and manage project tasks, timelines and communicate status to various stakeholders.

  • Plan, facilitate and champion effective Agile / Scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand ups, sprint demos and retrospectives.

  • Provide strong, proactive leadership for assigned projects.

  • Champion / evangelize process and uses of data for the testing organization

  • Establish and provide high-quality, written and verbal project communications, including weekly status, dashboards and project updates.

  • Actively contribute to establishing and improving project management practices and delivery frameworks.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills / Experiences:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work history

  • 5+ years working as a project manager

  • Agile and SCRUM

  • 3+ years in the games industry

  • Experience with software management projects

  • Experience using project planning software

Bonus Skills

  • Experience working as a PM on a data focused team
