Human Resources Assistant in Portland, Maine

Pay: $20 - $24 per hour

Schedule: M-F, 12p-5p

Assignment Length: Direct-hire

Duties:

  • Developing and managing a pipeline of potential candidates

  • Screening, interviewing, on-boarding, and follow-up with candidates

  • Partnering with external staffing agencies

  • Maintaining applicant tracking system, providing updates to the HR Manager

  • Providing administrative support to the HR Department

  • Conducting month-end reporting

  • Assisting with planning and organizing events

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of talent acquisitions or recruitment experience

  • Experience with MS Office

  • Excellent organizational, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality

  • 2-3years' experience in a HR department, knowledge of HR practices preferred
