ManpowerGroup Forklift Operator in Plymouth, Indiana
We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on material handling challenges and special projects as the need arises. Forklift Operators will be responsible for unloading and loading material, stacking and retrieving materials. Safety and Quality are our priorities!
What will you be doing?
Move controls to drive a forklift and transport materials between loading and storage areas.
Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, recharging batteries, etc.
Operate all equipment within safety guidelines and attend regularly scheduled safety meeting. Report any accidents and/or incidents to supervision immediately after the occurrence.
Safety, Sanitation, and Security- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
Assist with other material handling requirements
What do you need?
Certified in Forklift Operation
Willingness to work overtime if mandated
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
Able to handle multiple requests for assistance
Required to wear steel-toed shoes on Day 1
Strong attention to detail
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 35 pounds as necessary
