Our client, a Fortune 500 Financial Enterprise is seeking a Middleware Engineer/Administrator to join their team in Plano, Jacksonville and Chandler location in a Hybrid model.

Pay Range: Best Segment on W2
What’s the Job?
Provide middleware administration duties for critical banking platforms, including WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, and WXS (extreme scale cache).
Deliver middleware enterprise projects and regulatory legislative initiatives.
Ensure production stability and middleware platforms are patched with the latest software versions to manage risk.
Provide WebSphere Application Server administration, including server installation, configuration, performance tuning, and production support.
Serve as a J2EE architect, making recommendations on J2EE best practices in application development and designing WebSphere infrastructure for high availability and failover capability.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in Information Technology.
Expertise in middleware products such as Apache, J2EE, Java, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
Knowledge of operating systems, particularly Linux, and scripting languages like shell, jython, and perl.
Understanding of network infrastructure, including HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, proxies, and B2B links. Experience with release deploy tools like Ansible, Ansible Tower, XLR, BitBucket, and Celestial.
