Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a Computer/Software Industrial Technician to join their team. With this position, you will be part of the warehouse department supporting the production floor. The ideal candidate will have attention-to-detail, good organization skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Computer/Software Industrial Technician
Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hr depending on experience
Job Type: Potential for temp-to-hire
Hours / Location: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm / Plano, TX
What’s the Job?
Install and configure various operating systems across a wide range of hardware
Uses client product specifications and standard operating procedures (SOP) to produce product.
Prepares and maintains required records of production activities and reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues.
Monitors output for quality and conformance to required metrics.
Assembles computer hardware from build documentation.
What’s Needed?
Experience with computer hardware and various operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
Experience in installing software images and troubleshooting various system hardware issues.
Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms while taking and hearing
Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance of others
Attention to detail and good organization skills, as well as ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
