ManpowerGroup Application Architect V in Plano, Texas

My client, a top 5 banking institution, is seeking a Cloud Architect to join their team and align solutions with the Bank's cloud strategy.

Title: Cloud Architect

Locations: Plano TX, Chandler AZ, or Richmond VA

Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Pay: $70/hr

Contract: 12-24 Months - all applicants MUST be able to work on Experis' W2 directly; we are unable to work with 3rd party suppliers or C2C candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing new software solutions and enhancing existing ones

  • Ensuring code meets standards for accessibility, security, and performance

  • Writing and conducting unit and integration tests

  • Collaborating with developers, QA, and project management

  • Participating in requirements, architecture reviews, and design meetings

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Terraform, public cloud infrastructure, and cloud security

  • Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or similar frameworks

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins) and programming languages (Java, Python)

  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Cloud provider certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Architect)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with identity management frameworks

  • Linux/UNIX system administration

  • Hands-on experience with Go
