ManpowerGroup Project Manager in Plainfield, Illinois

Our client, a global leader in water treatment and chemical plant design is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the project engineering group supporting multiple client projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management & leadership skills with technical expertise in chemical manufacturing, O&G, refineries, Petrochem or similar industries which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Engineer/Manager

Location: Plainfield, IL

Pay: $120,000 - $180,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate project team activities, fostering collaboration and productivity.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project execution plans that outline key milestones and objectives, and proactively monitor progress to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Client Relations: Establish and maintain open channels of communication with our clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all questions and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Engineering Expertise: Leverage your engineering knowledge to perform detailed design checks on process equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management or a similar role.

  • 5+ years of experience in the development and execution of a project starting at the sale and continuing through the final construction and start-up phases.

  • Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred

  • Knowledge of contract management principles and practices.
