ManpowerGroup Electronics Technical Writer in Phoenix, Arizona

Our client, a global electronics manufacturer is seeking an Electronics Technical Writer to join their team on a project. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the NPI Engineering Team supporting Engineering and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong people, documentation and technical skills which will align successfully in the organization. This is a contract opportunity ONSITE in North Phoenix.

Job Title: Electronics Technical Writer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: DOE plus benefits

What’s the Job?

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on product documentation needs

  • Sourcing information and then doing technical writing on new product specs, manuals, work instructions, etc.

  • Will work with new and existing product documentation

  • May do reports and graphics as well

What’s Needed?

  • BA/BS degree - Engineering preferred

  • Minimum 2-3 years' hands-on documentation experience in a manufacturing or technical environment related to technology products - preferably electronics or semiconductor

  • Must be comfortable working with minimal supervision and have the ability to work equally with customers, internal engineering or production floor employees to gather necessary information for tehcnical documentation processes purposes

  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, Adobe PDF files, Visio

  • Ability to work M-F onsite in North Phoenix
