An innovative mining company in Pacific MO is looking for a part-time Lab Tech!
The Lab Tech will support product and process developers to create new products and business opportunities for the Industrial and Specialty Products division. This position will perform sample testing, support development of mimic testing, maintain a laboratory notebook, schedule maintenance of test equipment, and perform other duties to assist in developing new products.
Mon-Thurs / 8am-2pm / $21.53/hr
Essential job functions would be:
Perform various testing of standardized ISO and ASTM test methods.
Work with product and process developers to develop new test methods or application mimic equipment and procedures.
Maintain a laboratory notebook to properly document data to support creation of patents, trade secrets, and/or other intellectual property that provides a business advantage.
Interface with various personnel to accomplish new product development: production, supply chain, customers, suppliers, and science and technology.
Schedule and supervise maintenance of test equipment.
As needed, manage small capital project for new methods and equipment.
As necessary, provide technical support to production.
