Market & Liquidity Risk Manager-Mandarin

Hybrid-3 days in office

We are seeking a Market and Liquidity Manager to join our client team

The Market and Liquidity Risk-Mandarin will monitor and measure liquidity risk and market risk indicators on an on-going basis, in accordance with the Bank's risk management policy and trading policy, monitor the TD transactions according to HO and branch policy and procedures, coordinate the country risk limit and exposure monitoring and reporting, monitoring and reporting the economic capital and risk weight assets. Manage and monitor liquidity stress testing and other stress testings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Branch market and liquidity risk related policies and procedures on a regular basis

• Raise level of awareness of quantitative analysis in the business

• Monitor liquidity position, market risk exposures and related ratios and indicators

• Risk Identification, exposure reporting and risk measurement.

Monitor the TD’s transactions according to related risk management P&Ps

• Quantitative monitor and analyze economic capital of the business

• Quantitative monitor and analyze RWA of the business

• Coordinate the country risk limit monitoring and control

• Coordinate the country exposure monitoring and reporting

• Analysis – mean reversion/ relative value, time series analysis, volatility analysis

• Build or run and maintain interest rate risk and market risk models relevance and accuracy

• Perform market and liquidity stress testing to ensure data integrity and timely turnaround of testing deliverables

• Other tasks and projects as assigned by Department Head

• Successfully complete the Branch’s mandatory annual BSA/AML and OFAC training

Capabilities and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance or similar preferred

• Fixed income product knowledge

• Experience in risk management or operations involving data analysis and process management

• Understanding of the fundamental concepts of market risk and interest rate risk

• Highly detail- and quantitative-oriented

• Able to work on technical matters amid distractions

• Provide guidance to junior staff within the group

• Bilingual in English/Mandarin required for communication with Head Office in China
