ManpowerGroup Finance Transformation, Execution Program Manager (Director) in New York, New York

ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Financial Services organization in the NYC, NY/Long Island city, NY/Jersey City, NJ area for a contract to hire Finance Transformation, Execution Project Manager (Director equivalent) to assist their team. Future onsite work is required as per CDC and client guidelines for safe return, local candidates or able to relocate encouraged to apply!

ROLE: Finance Transformation, Execution Project Manager (Director equivalent)

Location: NYC, NY OR Long Island City, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Position type: 7+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion as FTE

14+ years of experience ideally in Capital Markets or Investment banking

Summary requirements

The Finance Program Group is responsible for the successful delivery of regulatory and cross-product transformational Initiatives as part of Client Transformation. This role, as a member of the Finance Transformation Office, will provide on-the-ground support to teams to help accelerate critical initiatives manage one or more critical projects within the Finance PG Initiatives, ensuring that best practices and Client standards are utilized to ensure successful delivery in a complex, global environment.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

• Minimum 14-18 years experience in program management in Financial Services, preferably in Capital Markets or Investment Banking.

• Strong understanding of project management principles and ability to execute on delivery.

• Appropriate industry knowledge, including Capital Markets product knowledge is preferred.

• Organized and self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions. Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.

• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
