ManpowerGroup Production Operator in Moxee, Washington
Production Operator
Location: Moxee, WA
Pay: 16.50 per hour
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to assisting in the production of fertilizer, stacking finished product, monitoring production equipment, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Following directions from the Crew Leader in all duties in the Production Department as assigned.
• Follow all Environmental, Health, Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures, in addition to reporting any observed unsafe conditions.
• Attend and participate in training on EH&S, Standard Operating Procedures, and other training.
• As needed and if qualified; operate mobile equipment (forklifts) to load and unload trucks, transfer material, and other duties.
• General housekeeping such as sweeping, shoveling, chipping, painting, & minor maintenance.
• At times, assist the shipping department in packaging of finished product in 50 lb bags and other size containers plus. manually stacking 50 lb bags.
• Work in all weather conditions, both inside an un-heated building and outside when necessary.
• Occasionally work in a dusty environment wearing all necessary PPE throughout an industrial site.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Position Include:
Must have steel toe boots
Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
Experience in an industrial/agricultural or manufacturing production environment is preferred.
A responsible work history, with a proven respect for company and safety policies and procedures.
Working a variety of shifts, including evenings and night shifts, is required.
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and lift 50 lbs.
A positive attitude and the ability and willingness to learn a variety of tasks.
Experience operating a fork/lift truck would be considered an asset.
Verbal and written communications skills appropriate to the position.
The ability to work independently.
