ManpowerGroup Administrative Assistant-Entry Level in Montgomery, New York

Our client, a manufacturing company is seeking a Administrative Assistant-Entry Level to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, strong data entry skills and experience working in a manufacturing/production setting which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant- Entry Level

Location: Montgomery

Pay Rate: 18.00-19.00/hr., based on experience

Schedule: M-Fri 8am-5pm

Temp-Perm Opportunity

What’s the Job?

  • Enter stock order into the accounting software.

  • Compile order folders for containers that are due to come into one of our warehouses

  • Get pricing on freight for each orders

  • Prepare bills of lading document for each order

  • Inventory Management

  • Correspond with four warehouses

  • Correspond with freight companies

  • Provide customer service

  • Answer incoming phone calls

  • Answer emails

  • Filing

  • Enter customer’s purchase order into accounting system.

  • Verify that the sales quote matches against the customer’s purchase order

  • Send purchase orders and master sheet to the factory

  • Verify pricing that comes back from the factory.

  • Verify art proof matches specs on the purchase order

  • Send acknowledgements to customers

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints.

What's Needed?

  • Strong Customer Service experience

  • Strong Data Entry experience

  • Must possess excellent telephone and interpersonal skills

  • Strong MS Office skills, specifically MS Excel proficiency

  • Must be an organized, team player, and highly motivated.

  • Strong math skills

  • HS Diploma
