Our client is seeking an Import/Export Analyst to join their team.

Job Description:
Support internal customers in coordinating the inbound and outbound shipment process.
Ensure that all related documentation and record keeping is compliant with U.S. Import & Export Regulations.
Position requires knowledge of import/export logistics, international freight forwarding, and use of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule or Schedule B commodity codes.
Creating Proforma Invoices, Classifying commodities according to HTS and/or Schedule B, Maintaining updated FDA and Other Agency data, NAFTA Certificates of Origin, Filing Shipper?s Export Declarations, Maintain Inbound/Outbound Shipment Log and Filing System, Shipment Tracking and Follow Up, Logistics Coordinating/Assistance, Compliance/Audit, Audit Customs Brokerage Invoices.
4-6 yrs. exp. High School Diploma and or G.E.D.
Required:
Country of origin determination experience
Previous HTS classification experience required – will need to pass an exam onsite with HM for company
Using tariff codes to determine classifications
USMCA experience required
Processing CO’s
Winchell experience nice to have
ERP/SAP experience nice to have
Preferred:
License Customs broker or Certified Customs Specialist preferred
Knowledgeable and able to classify USMCA preferred status product for Maquilas
Knowledgeable and able to determine and document country of origin
Will have to take a basic classification exam from corporate office to be a certified classifier
