ManpowerGroup Security Systems Technician in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Our client, a leader in systems integration products, is seeking an Installation / Security Technician to join their team. As an Installation / Security Technician, you will be handling installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation with guidance as needed.

Job Title: Installation/Security Technician

Location: Greater Milwaukee, WI

Salary Range: $65K-$80K (Depending on the relevant work experience and qualification).

Permanent Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical support and training for the customer, refers more complex issues to higher level colleagues.

  • Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications.

  • Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.

  • Operates systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance and identify malfunctions. Writes routine programs for systems.

  • Consults with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance, and warranty work.

Requirements

  • Technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.

  • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude.

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis

  • 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.

  • High School/GED or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience :

  • Relevant field service experience.

  • CCTV experience with systems like Milestone and Genetec.

  • Access Control experience with systems such as AMAG, Lenel, Genetec, Software House (CCURE), and S2.

  • Intrusion system experience with DMP and Bosch.
