ManpowerGroup Construction Billing/Collections Analysts in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Jefferson Wells is partnering with our Construction Client to find Contract Construction Billing and Collections Accountants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing and collections processes within our construction company, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all financial transactions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.

Type of Role: Contract which could lead into a permanent position for the right candidate

Hybrid: 3 days on site; 2 days remote

Location: Milwaukee (near downtown)

Duration: Start 6 Months, starting mid-February if possible

Pay Rate Target: $35/hour (may have flexibility depending on experience)

Billing Management:

• Generate accurate and timely invoices for construction projects based on contract terms, progress billing schedules, and change orders.

• Review project documentation, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.

• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues promptly.

• Types of invoicing: Combo of fixed price, milestones and service charges

Collections Management:

• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.

• Communicate with clients regarding overdue payments, resolve billing disputes, and negotiate payment plans when necessary.

• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to escalate collection efforts and address customer concerns effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Proven experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable management, in the construction industry.

• Must Have: Strong understanding of construction contracts, billing terms, and project accounting principles.
