ManpowerGroup SAP BODS ETL Developer in Melville, New York

Our client, a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions. Is looking for a consultant for an SAP BODS Developer role. This is a remote contract position. Details below.

Job Title: SAP BODS Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months plus contract role

Experience in SAP BODS ETL design and implementation involving extraction and provisioning of data from a variety of legacy systems. Experience in Data Conversion/Data Migration / Data Warehousing projects that includes analysis and development of Dataflows, mappings using needed transformations using BODS. Develop Jobs, Workflows and Data flows based on the specifications using various stages in BODS. Experience in BODS Designer Components- Projects, Jobs, Workflow, Data Flow, Scripts, Data Stores and Formats. Experience validating the ETL code and do Unit Testing by writing SQL queries Exposure in BODS performance tuning techniques using parallel processing (Degree of Parallelism), Multithreading, Partitioning, and Database Throughputs to improve job performance Hands on exp in debugging execution errors using Data Services logs (trace, statics and Error) Should have work experience in different types of transformations like Query transformation, Merge, Case, Validations, Map- operation, History Preserving and Table Comparison transformations. Should have clear understanding of DW Lifecycle and contributed in preparing technical design documents and test plans
