Shift: 1st Shift

Salary : $22 per hour (with Incentive Bonuses)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Shop Operator #3 to join our team. This role involves performing production work on various machines, including NC/CNC machines. The primary responsibilities include loading and unloading parts and conducting basic inspections to ensure the quality of the parts. Note that machine setup and programming are not required for this position. This role offers the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to advance to the Machine Shop Operator #2 classification.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure the quality of the parts produced.

  • Adhere to all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding.

  • Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Physically capable of performing tasks that involve frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently.

  • Adequate reading and writing abilities to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.

  • Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.

  • Adequate manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.

Incentive Bonuses:

  • $200 Incentive Bonus: After 30 days and another $200 after 90 days.

  • To qualify, associates must have NO more than 3 instances of tardiness or leaving early.

  • Requests for time-off will be reviewed and considered.

  • No Call/No Show will AUTOMATICALLY disqualify the associate from receiving the incentive bonus.

  • New Hire Incentive Bonus: $1000 in 3 payments.

  • $200 after 3 months

  • $400 after 6 months

  • $400 after 12 months

  • To qualify, associates must have no disciplinary actions in the respective quarter.
