Job Title: Design Engineer
Location: Marion, North Carolina
Pay Rate: $24 an hour
What’s the Job?
Interpret information received from customers and use it to prepare information that will be used by Inside Sales to process quotes and orders.
Interface with customers to understand needs, troubleshoot problems, develop solutions, and discover opportunities.
Perform non-routine and moderately complex design tasks, utilizing design tasks, utilizing design software such as AutoCAD or Solidworks® and other equipment such as a 3D printer, plotter, copier, etc.
Resolves design issues with customers, contractors, and distributors.
Administrates Engineering Change Notification (ECN) system.
What’s Needed?
Associate degree in mechanical drafting & design or related degree.
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Minimum 2 years of piping system design experience preferred.
2+ years of experience in CAD design preferred.
