Manpower is currently seeking full-time temp to hire production technician in the Downtown Louisville area. As an employee of Manpower you will have the opportunity to work at one or multiple clients that we have on a temporary or temporary to hire basis.

What the job is:

*Perform manufacturing processes to complete assemblies using machines or presses.

  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Lead.

  • Complete task as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.

  • Maintain the work areas and equipment in a clean orderly condition.

  • Use visual inspection gauges and other measurement devices to ensure accurate output and quality of products

  • Change machine setup and/or make minor adjustments to machines to produce product, which meets the designated product specifications for that particular workstation.

  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.

What you bring to the job:

  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach. Must be able to climb up and down, as well as using a ladder.

  • Must be present on the job to perform the assigned duties and be able to work overtime which is often required to meet production schedules
