ManpowerGroup Production Manager in Los Angeles, California
Our client, a leading provider of quality power conversion products to the Aerospace and Electronics Industries is seeking a Production Manager to join their team. As a Production Manager you will be part of the production team supporting manufacturing and quality initiatives, safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience with J STD 001, ERP/MRP and ability to manager safety and improve processes which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Sun Valley, CA
Pay Range: $90K - $110K
What’s the Job?
Establish workload priorities to ensure that deadlines and company requirements are met.
Provide ongoing guidance to staff, with accountability for employee development, employee performance reviews, and balancing of the department skill base.
Creating and maintaining the manufacturing bill of material in the ERP system.
Providing information regarding workload status, schedules and quality metrics via written reports and presentations.
Manage the hiring of temporary employees to meet capacity requirements within the production department.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent).
Minimum of 7-10 years of management experience supporting electrical and/or mechanical manufacturing processes.
Advanced knowledge of color code, soldering techniques and component ID.
Ability to manage up to 30 employees and maintain high performance teams.
Strategy development and project management skills.
