ManpowerGroup Production Manager in Los Angeles, California

Our client, a leading provider of quality power conversion products to the Aerospace and Electronics Industries is seeking a Production Manager to join their team. As a Production Manager you will be part of the production team supporting manufacturing and quality initiatives, safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience with J STD 001, ERP/MRP and ability to manager safety and improve processes which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Sun Valley, CA

Pay Range: $90K - $110K

What’s the Job?

  • Establish workload priorities to ensure that deadlines and company requirements are met.

  • Provide ongoing guidance to staff, with accountability for employee development, employee performance reviews, and balancing of the department skill base.

  • Creating and maintaining the manufacturing bill of material in the ERP system.

  • Providing information regarding workload status, schedules and quality metrics via written reports and presentations.

  • Manage the hiring of temporary employees to meet capacity requirements within the production department.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of management experience supporting electrical and/or mechanical manufacturing processes.

  • Advanced knowledge of color code, soldering techniques and component ID.

  • Ability to manage up to 30 employees and maintain high performance teams.

  • Strategy development and project management skills.
