What's in it for you?

  • Shift : 2nd Shift - 3:30pm to 12:00am

  • Pay Rate : $11.50 per hour

  • Duration : 12 months

What is the job?

  • Unloads, unpacks, examines and organizes incoming shipments.

  • Counts material and verifies counts against bills of lading, packing lists or other records.

  • Records discrepant counts and rejects damaged items; communicates with purchasing or other areas to rectify shortages and damages.

  • Moves parts to, from, and between stocking locations while completing corresponding transaction(s) in Oracle using a handheld, barcode-scanning device and/or a desktop computer.

  • Completes tasks by following the appropriate standard work procedures.

  • Follows current process for expediting material from receiving directly to production area(s).

  • Counts, weighs, and records number units of material moved or handled.

  • Transports material to designated areas using manual methods and/or powered equipment.

  • Collects material requisitions from assigned locations within the facility, fills to those locations, and communicates effectively with appropriate personnel regarding material status.
