ManpowerGroup Maintenance Journeyman in Leeds, Alabama
We are seeking a Maintenance Journeyman for a 3rd shift opportunity in Leeds, AL. This multi-craft maintenance position entails daily preventive maintenance tasks such as general electrical work, machine repair, and completing work orders on plant equipment during downshifts, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment during operating shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting critical equipment upon failure
• Repairing AC & DC Motors and Control Circuits
• Reading/Interpreting Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Instrumentation Drawings, Schematics, and Technical Manuals
• Installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing PLC and/or DCS Hardware, Software, and Controls
• Maintaining 480/240 Volt 3 phase MCC and Power Distribution Systems
• Replacing Electrical Control Devices (Limit, Proximity, and Photo Switches, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Valves, etc.)
• Performing Preventive and Predictive maintenance
• Moving and setting up equipment as needed
• Wiring equipment and electrical drops within a high voltage area
• Installing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic industrial equipment
• Correcting safety concerns
• Performing other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
• Current maintenance experience in an industrial environment is required
• Demonstrated stable work history
• Ability to work in an atmosphere that will range 15 to 20 degrees higher than the outside temperature
• Constant lifting, carrying, push, and pull of up to 35 lbs
• Industrial electrical experience is required
Education:
• High School Diploma
• Will consider recent graduates with the following Education or certifications:
o Associate in Applied Science Industrial Electronics Technology
o Certificate in Industrial & Residential Wiring and Process Controls
o Certificate in Motor Controls, Motors and Transformers, and Programmable Logic Controllers
o Certificate in Introduction to Electrical Theory
o Associates in Applied Science Major: Automotive Manufacturing Technology
