ManpowerGroup Food Quality and Safety Technician in Lakeville, Minnesota
Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a Food Quality Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the QC Department, supporting production by ensuring all food safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within the team.
Job Title: Quality Contol Technician
Location: Lakeville, MN
Pay Range: $21.75 per hour
Shift: 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am
What’s the Job?
Perform Quality checks on production lines in a timely and accurate fashion every hour per line (often responsible for 3 lines at a time).
Bring discrepancies with the Quality Monitoring Scheme to the attention of the Supervisor or Quality Manager.
Ensure that the product meets all legal and customer requirements as outlined in the Bluebook for each product.
Complete paperwork accurately each day and maintain 5-S standards.
Perform HACCP and Preventive Controls checks/tasks as needed.
What’s Needed?
3 months of experience as a Quality Assurance Technician.
Attention to detail and ability to spot defects on fast-moving production lines.
Basic understanding of machinery operations related to product quality.
Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak, write, and comprehend Spanish is a plus.
Experience with MS Office Suite.
