ManpowerGroup Technical Writer in Houston, Texas

Our client,a global energy innovator is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting product engineering. The ideal candidate will be highly detailed, have great written and verbal communication skills and be self-motivated which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Houston, Texas

Pay Range: $28 / hour

What’s the Job?

  • Research technical data and develop procedures through interviews, on-site visits, and production observations.

  • Organize and research available data, write technical manuscripts including procedures and parts lists.

  • Determine illustration needs and recommend content to illustrators.

  • Assist in proofing and editing technical publications of other writers for style and format conformance.

  • Collaborate with other writers to determine project assignments and report project status.

What’s Needed?

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Experience in writing technical documents, manuals, and procedures.

  • 4-year degree in Engineering, with preference for Mechatronics or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in quality management system and document control.

  • Be able to read engineering drawings.
