Our client,a global energy innovator is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting product engineering. The ideal candidate will be highly detailed, have great written and verbal communication skills and be self-motivated which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Houston, Texas
Pay Range: $28 / hour
What’s the Job?
Research technical data and develop procedures through interviews, on-site visits, and production observations.
Organize and research available data, write technical manuscripts including procedures and parts lists.
Determine illustration needs and recommend content to illustrators.
Assist in proofing and editing technical publications of other writers for style and format conformance.
Collaborate with other writers to determine project assignments and report project status.
What’s Needed?
Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in writing technical documents, manuals, and procedures.
4-year degree in Engineering, with preference for Mechatronics or equivalent experience.
Experience in quality management system and document control.
Be able to read engineering drawings.
