ManpowerGroup Process Engineer in Houston, Texas

Our client, a Process Solutions Fabrication/Engineering company, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical and analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a strong attention to detail, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Location: Tomball, TX 77375

Pay Range: $55/hour

What’s the Job?

  • Read and review customer specifications.

  • Prepare and manage all engineering documentation for a project.

  • Make final selections of all valves and instruments.

  • Verify and provide input on the P&ID.

  • Interface with the Project Manager and shop personnel.

What’s Needed?

  • Thorough understanding of selection valves of all types, flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, and other instrumentation on process and instrument diagrams.

  • Thorough understanding of the ASME/ANSI piping codes.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team of peers to produce P&ID designs, including specifying the P&ID components.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of gas and liquid hydrocarbon processes.

  • Familiarity with process simulation software such as Unisim.
